When should I arrive for my treatment?

For a first appointment, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment. You will be asked to complete an intake questionnaire with basic information about yourself and your skin treatment needs. Repeat clients, please arrive 5 minutes prior to the scheduled treatment.

What should I wear for my visit?

Wear comfortable clothing. Some of our treatments may include massage of face, neck and shoulders, so we provide clients with a cloth body wrap. Jewelry should be removed prior to the treatment.

Can I remain dressed in my own clothing?

You can wear your own clothing. Our estheticians drape towels or sheets discretely over any areas that are not involved in the treatment and strive to protect your privacy. Men are asked only to remove their shoes and outer shirt.

Should men shave before a facial treatment?

We recommend men shave 4-5 hours prior to receiving a facial. However, if you prefer not to shave the day of your appointment, we can perform most treatments in the presence of facial hair.

How old do I have to be to receive?

You must be at least 18 years of age to receive services. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult over 21. The parent or escort is permitted to be in the treatment room while the treatment is performed.

When you make your appointment, please notify us if you are pregnant, or have allergies, high blood pressure, other medical issues, physical ailments or disabilities.

How do I cancel or postpone an appointment?

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call us as soon as possible, and we’ll reschedule it to an alternate date and time of your convenience, depending on availability.

Chemical Peels and Microdermabrasion Treatments:

Why would I choose a chemical peel?

The peel is an ideal deep exfoliation treatment which removes the top layer of the skin to even out your skin tone, minimize fine lines, reduce wrinkles. A chemical peel will reveal younger, smoother looking skin. We can implement a peel on the entire face or just on specific areas. Recovery time can take one to seven days, depending upon the strength of the treatment.

How long does a chemical peel treatment take?

It could take up to one hour. To maximize results, each chemical peel session includes a facial prior to applying the peel treatment.

After a chemical peel, what can I expect over the next few days?

Effects from a peel vary based upon the treatment. After a Glycolic Acid peel, the skin may appear a bit red for a few days, similar to mild sunburn. Stronger peels are followed by crusting and flaking, which may last up to 10 days. We will provide you easy-to-follow home care instructions for after your peel, and help you select the proper products to take home.

Why should I choose Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is an ideal treatment for improving the skin’s appearance and rejuvenating the skin without irritation and redness that can occur with other treatments. Microdermabrasion is an effective treatment for sun-damaged and aging skin. It can also be used to treat acne, pigmentation caused by acne scars, age spots and blemishes.

What is the Microdermabrasion process?

Microdermabrasion removes dull, lifeless and damaged surface skin cells by polishing the skin with Corundum Crystals. By emulating the body’s natural way to repair the skin and stimulating collagen production, this process helps speed up skin cell turnover. It is the safest, most effective method for skin exfoliation, wrinkle reduction and pigment lightening.

How many sessions of Microdermabrasion will I need?

Each person’s skin condition varies, and it could take from two to several sessions to achieve visible results. For long lasting results, we recommend a series of six sessions.

Can Chemical Peels and Microdermabrasion be combined for better results?

We can combine the two procedures within one session. Microdermabrasion is performed first to exfoliate the skin and facilitate deeper penetration of the chemical peel. Our esthetician will advise you if you are an ideal candidate for this dual procedure and determine special package pricing.
